Knots, Bends, and Hitches:  Learn proficiency in tying and inspecting knots.
Analyze the purpose and application of each knot in various scenarios.

Marginal and Retrievable Anchors:  Construct and analyze marginal and retrievable anchors.

Learn the appropriate application of different pothole escape techniques based on
pothole characteristics and resources:

Twin Rope Rigging Systems
Learn to construct, rig, and utilize twin rope rigging systems for rappelling. Identify scenarios where twin rope systems are necessary.

Mechanical Advantage Systems
Learn how to construct mechanical advantage systems and their impact on anchor forces.  Know and calculate mechanical advantage ratios for various rigging configurations.
